Anton Jarnheimer is an associate researcher at the Paediatric Surgery and Global Paediatrics Research Group at Lund University, Sweden, where he co-leads the group’s registry based research on Swedish patient data. He previously worked as a Research Associate of the Lancet Commission on Global Surgery and co-organized the commission’s second meeting in Sierra Leone.

Formally graduating as a medical doctor later this year, Mr. Jarnheimer has begun working as a junior doctor in the infectious diseases unit at Kalmar County Hospital in Sweden.
